Cancelling a maintenance job with Homeserve

I have just unthinkingly (because I'm a bit rushed and stressed) agreed for Homeserve to come and fit a washing machine for £75, and it's just occurred to me that I've been ripped off. Stupid I know but...
Anyway the plumber from Homeserve is due to come and install the washing machine on Thursday afternoon. Do I have statutory rights to cancel, or is it at their discretion?

I imagine it would be at their discretion. They might also charge a cancellation fee - only one way to find outSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Why have you been ripped off? Have they sold you a service that they are not going to provide?Gone ... or have I?0
