    In short, Yes, if your pilon period takes you beyond the next full year of service, then you are entitled to any extra benefits. Don't forget also, that you still accrue holiday pay during pilon, so you can claim a months worth of that too.
    We went through all this very recently when the company I worked for started a move-abroad.
