Panasonic Offers??

Last year I bought a Panasonic Blu ray player which came with a promotional offer of three Blu ray discs. At the same time I bought a Panasonic camera from QVC which came with an offer of a free SD card or warranty.
Both items arrived with a leaflet which was duly completed and sent with the original receipt. Panasonic pretended that they never received the letters but this was undermined when they sent the forms back with recipts attached. They were returned but Panasonic again said they had gone missing despite being sent recorded delivery and being signed for.
They then rejected the claim due to the offer dates passing.
I duly issued a summons in the County Court for the value of the items. Panasonic denied liability but eventually a character claiming to be a solicitor contacted me on my ex directory number which I had never given to Panasonic demanding receipts. To cut a long story short Pnasonic accepted the liability in writing and asked that I confirm that to the Court on the night before the hearing.
I acceded to the request and sent a copy of their letter to the Court. Pansonic however attended wthe hearing witha barrister nad had the matter struck out.
No money has ever been sent.
Beware the duplicity and dishonesty of this company.
I note that they are promoting similar offers nad its clear that Panansonic would rather lose customers that honour its obligations small that they may be in the face of the capital cost of the goods

    Something doesn't add up here...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

    How so?
It's been a long day and the brain is a bit slow at the moment.
