Cutting down hours at work

Hello everyone
Im a longterm lurker on these boards and find them really helpful and useful
I am after some advise about benefits and what my next step should be
I suffer from health issues and am finding it hard to cope at home on my own with 3 children ,up until about a year ago i was working full time but had to quit my job as my ill health was making it impossible
My hubby currently works full time and i have no family/friends to help me out with the children
So at present the only option we have is for my husband to cut his hours at work
He has spoken to his manager and they have offered him a position that is 13 hrs per week
Now if he were to accept this what benefits could we claim , i know that we could claim housing and council tax benefit
I am in the middle of a dla claim also
Any advise will be greatfully recieved
Thanks for reading

Do you get middle rate DLA, if so he could become your carer and claim income support as a couple. Then you would be better of.0
