From the photo in the link on the first post the views are stunning, because they appear to be infinate, I'd be concerned about roping it off and making the area seem physically smaller and risking losing the length of view. If that makes sense? It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Yeah its truly stunning. I tried to describe it to my friend the other day, I said its like one of those infinity pools you get on holiday where it seems to go on forever, but its an infinity field lol!
There would be no danger of making it look smaller, believe me, its vast when you stand out there its almost surreal. I think something that looks kind of natural as a barrier would look good, as opposed to blinking great bright coloured plastic objects........:heart2::heart2::heart2: I LOVE MY BEAGLE! :heart2::heart2::heart2:0 -
Quite a lot of National Trust properties have Ha Has, I don't think they are roped off there.

Ha Ha's are put in so as not to interrupt the view - a bit like a 19th Century infinity pool.
They look nearly invisible from a distance, but pretty obvious as you get closer!
I think you'd have to be pretty drunk to become a ha ha victim.
Just enjoy the day - the parents will be able to point it out if they feel the need.0 -
Surely the parents of the children attending will take responsibility for their children's safety?0

I wouldn't worry about putting anything up, as a warning should be suffice? As long as parents are aware of this fact they can warn their small children
.
It's the responsibility of the venue to make sure everything is safe.
BTW, that view looks AMAZING
