Right, so how much should actually be taken from my bank? Well Ive been onto asdas website today and clicked on my orders, that says the total is £34.53! All the above then minus the evoucher ACTUALLY comes to £44.53 and Ive just read somewhere if some things you order are not delivered because not being in stock, you still get your £10 evoucher of... so that would explain why asda my orders says £34.53 yes?
But they have took £55.33!!! I had enough in my bank for this to go out, but now it has left me short as I was supposed to be going to the bank today to get roughly £17 out ! And now I cant!

What should I do.... do I ring them? Do i put it down to bad experience? Now Im worried about shopping with asda again!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I would phone them and complain. I haven't personally had any experience of Asda home shopping but Tesco's have always been very good in responding to complaints (I normally have to return some item at least once every other week and complain about my vouchers not being taken) - maybe you should tell them that you have heard that Tescos customer services are pretty reliable

on your invoice you got with your delivery it will show the full amont without the voucher.but the amount taken from the bank should be the lesser amount if this is not the case ring them .
Have you actually checked the bank
Their customer service is really good I have found .If I have ever have problems they are always helpful

When the driver returns the goods to the store, then the store refunds your card for the amount of the returned goods. I always have the driver write and sign my delivery note saying that I have returned them that way I have a copy for my records in case they don't refund me.

I've had three deliveries from Asda and on two of them, I had nothing but problems. The bread they sent was 3 days bast the sell by date on one delivery and the 2nd the bread had the same sell by date as the date of delivery. The driver showed up here one time without any paperwork. The driver told me to look on the internet for what I ordered. When I asked him if I had any substitutions, he said "I don't know. I don't have any paperwork". After refusing to sign for the shopping without paperwork, the driver went away and came back 45 minutes later with the paperwork and a BIG attitude.

They don't seem to train their drivers because when you ask them anything about your order, substitutions, etc, they have no idea. I've also had them deliver the wrong grocery order to me. (mine and someone elses) The driver came back at 10:30pm when we were going to bed and wanted the other shopping back after customer service said to keep the groceries and they would refund the other customer. And again, the driver had a BIG attitude.

After complaining, they promised to give me a refund but the refund never found it's way back on my card. I chased them for months and they still haven't refunded it. I will never shop with them again. I would rather give my hard earn money to a store that can treat me right, give me fresh bread and dairy items, and is friendly and courteous. Just my opinion :D

They should credit your account with the money, usually takes a couple of days. I find Asda to really on the ball with those sorts of things. Cs is great, couple of months ago I had my order delivered, went through it all only to find they had substituted quite a few items. I didn't wnt them, phoned cs and explained- they credited my account within 48 hrs and told me to keep the goods. I gave them to my mum-she was well pleased

Ive rung them up. Basically they have said that yes without the vouchers and all this, it SHOULD HAVE BEEN £55.33. and this is pre-authorised from your acount. and it has actually gone out. Now I have to wait a few days for asda to release the £21 they actually owe me. I dont like all this. I thought it was going to be plain sailing!
Thinking of maybe using Tesco next time? Do you have this problem with them?

  • I've used Asda and found them to be very good. On the occasions where subsitutions have been made they supplied higher priced items and I got them at the lower price (i.e. price matched!)

Had my first Asda shop delivered on Wednesday night - ordered my usuall fruit smoothis and was chuffed as it was on offer. 1 carton was 5 yes FIVE days past the sell by date and the other only had 1 day left. Looked in my fridge at the old carton and that had 6th September on it.

Not pleased - complained to CS (foreign call centre perhaps?) who were very appologetic and have said they will refund teh amount to my card, but on the positive side the driver was nice and told me what items were in each bag as he handed them to me. Not yet sure if I will use them again, and to be honest I find Asda a bit tacky - probably just because I am used to shopping in my local waitrose!

I personally avoid online grocery shopping at the moment! I ordered 12 bottles of bargain wine from Tesco and used a coupon from the wine club they sent me for £10 off. So the total comes to £15.89 (bargain!) - confirmation e-mail comes through and says any problems etc we will notify you. So I say to my dad can you get the delivery when it arrives as I'll be at work.

When I get home ALL 12 bottles have been substituted and the price they have whipped out my account is over £53!

So I phone up and they said bring it back to the store and we will refund to which I responded no! you come and collect it. Finally after about 5 phone calls they did but I do wonder how they applied their 'every little helps' saying to increasing my order by over double the amount!!!!!!

Be aware this is what they sometimes do!

I've given up after a nightmare Sainsburys2you shop! Never turned up on Wednesday because driver walked out of job mid-round. No-one else could deliver so rearranged for the Friday. Only half turned up on the Friday - no receipt to check against. Rang the store to say half missing - Oh yes it's here. Cheers! Plus even when that was eventually delivered some was still missing, 24 bread rolls were sell by that day and use by the next day!

Tole the Customer services I didn't want another voucher (had three already) and so got a credit back.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
