Minibus - for free?! Charitable cause!

Ill keep it as simple as I can. I know that some of you will be able to help, I plead for you to give up 10 mins of your time to try.

Im taking part in what used to be called the microsoft challenge. I work for Hewlett Packard. Im part of a team of 6 individuals Our focus is on raising lots of money for the NSPCC. Last year a total of £56k was raised, earning us a tropy for raising the most, something we are working hard to keep!

We require the use of a large minibus, from 15/6 - 20/6. My company will pay for this.. however if we can find someone to loan us this for free, the funds will be donated instead.. £600+

The team are spread across the country, with the most southern being at PE6 7QP, ideally the idea would be to set off from there and pick people up along the way to scotland.

If you have any connections what so ever in the car/bus hire industry, please help!

Our local authority (Luton) let us have one of their minbuses for a week for a nominal fee -£50ish I think - when one of the charities I work for needed one.

It did require the driver to have a short driver ability test, but that was all.

Maybe if you ask the post to be moved to charity board for more results?

Thanks Vansboy, I have just sent an email off to Peterborough council.. unlikely they will help, but worth a try. Yes, if someone could move this to this charity forum? (sorry I didnt know there was one)

You could maybe ask a local school? One that you have connections to? Shame its not in school holiday time as I imagine they'd be more willing.
