I feel misled by EON
I'm an eon customer and have been for a number of years. At the weekend I logged onto my account and checked to see if I would be better off switching my tariff. I found the online discount of 20.20% on fix-online 8 very attractive, compared this with my current saveonline tarrif and decided I would take the plunge and switch. Very pleased with myself I checked the discounts on my account after the switch and was shocked/surprised or other words to note that the online discount was showing as around 18%. Also the unit charges did not match those that had been displayed when I made my decision to switch. What has happened? Why am I not getting the charges I thought that I was signing upto? I have emailed eon and as yet had no response

Unfortunately I’m not sure why the amount of discount is different before and after the switch.
The difference in unit price may be a result of them originally being displayed as including VAT and now excluding VAT or vice versa.
Could this be the case?
I’m not aware of any website issues relating to information being displayed incorrectly, so if you could email me on the address in my profile I’d appreciate it. I can then look into this in detail and hopefully give you an accurate answer.
