Does anyone know if this is the cheapest I can get this journey at? I know its a good price but we are on a budget!! We cant obviously get a family railcard because we have no children with us...... is there any other railcard we can get?

Would prefer the morning journey of 3 hours instead of 4 hours, cos then we get more time in London!

Thanks in advance!

Well the trainline have quoted you the standard fare you can buy on the day and added a fee to it. Raileasy are also charging a fee though with slightly cheaper prices.

I've just looked on the first great western site and can see £53 (£24.50 plus £28,50) return a head with no fees. That's a slightly later train back.

That is assuming 6 tickets are available at that price - they may not be. Try booking them one at a time if necessary. You don't have to commit to paying until they are all listed in your shopping basket. Just 'book another ticket' rather than proceed to payment
