Problems with Laptops Direct

I ordered a Laptop on Laptops Direct, And never recieved a order number or confirmation email, I paid Via Paypal and the money (£1000) has gone from my account but I have no Laptop.
I have tried emailing the company - They don't reply
I have tried Phoning....no Luck there
what can I do?

What do you mean 'no luck there' by phoning? For £1000 I'd keep on bloody ringing!0

They say they can't help me because I don't have a order number! I'll try phoning again when I'm not as angry because I am fuming at the moment.
wish I had have googled the company before my order as there seems to be thousands of bad reviews of this company0 -

Sorry to hear you are having problems with this Laptops Direct.
Unfortunately I can’t really offer any further advice, more a warning. This company are terrible. The laptop they sent me arrived with a smashed screen and they are refusing to take any responsibility for this - phone calls, emails and letters get very unsatisfactory responses and mainly consist if sections copied and pasted from their website.
I am currently in the process of taking them to the small claims court.
Avoid them I would say.
