Success with lowering d/d
Thanx to Martin Lewis I finally took the initiative and phoned my energy suppliers Southern Electric. I pay by d/d for both gas & elec. As my electricity bill was always in credit by just under £100, they still didn't adjust my d/d. It was still stuck at £48. I just accepted this until I read Martin's info on claiming back. The funny thing is that my gas bill was just short by £39 and they immediatly increased my d/d to reflect this! Talk about double standards! Finally I phoned them armed with Martin's info. My call only lasted about 3 mins and they immedately said they would credit my bank acc with £93.36 and also my d/d would go down to £40!!! Happy days!!!! :j:j
