I am looking at David Salisbury Direct for a timber conservatory. They sell a kit which you DIY or use your own builder to construct. Anyone have any experience of doing this or this using company please??

Hi, I have bought a DS consevatory. I find them an excellent reputable company, very helpful and with a Rolls Royce quality product. My design was a little complex but the supplied kit went together like a dream. All I would say is that for some designs you have to be very carefull that your base measurements are very accurate and that measurements such as diagonals are also measured accurately. THis is because of the tight presicion of how they are made to very close tolerances. Its rather like they have machined in metal but of course they have used wood.
Go to the David Salisbury "direct" website and talk to somebody there. I am certain that you will not regret it.

Just finished... Build our David Salisbury Conservatory, Not to be taken on by a real amatuer DIYer but with time and patience you end up with a wonderful conservatory at a good value price. Loved the product very good to work. :j0
