Terms and conditions:

4. There are a variety of prizes. - Final Draw Prizes: a. There is 2 top prize in the final draw which consists of the following; a signed pair of Wayne Rooney's boots worn at the FIFA World Cup 2010, a weekend in London for 2 people at a 5* hotel for 1 night based on a shared twin/double room, B&B board, dinner for 2 (capped at £160 including £20 drinks tab per person) at a top London restaurant, a tour of Wembley stadium and a pair of customised football boots. Standard train travel to and from London included plus a chauffeur driven car from the hotel to Wembley Stadium for your tour and from the hotel to a customised boot fitting in London. b. There are 3 runner up prizes for the final draw consisting of a Freestyle Football Trickster and Stadium Experience held at a Premier League Football Stadium in Manchester. Prize package includes an interactive freestyle football group workshop taught by world record holders, standard return train travel from the winners nearest train station to the Manchester venue train station (capped at £150 per person), taxi transfer from Manchester venue train station to the Stadium (return), lunch (including soft drinks) and a video compilation of the experience. Winners need to be available to take the prize on a specified date in September 2010. Daily Draw: a. there are 21 daily prizes, each consisting of 1 pair of measured and customised football boots. Winners are required to design their football boots online and once designed send their finished design to the promoter. Each winner will be sent an image of their finished boot design and a design confirmation form, which the winner will be required to sign and return to the promoter within 5 days of receipt. Upon the promoter receiving the signed confirmation the boots will be ordered and sent to the winner (this may take up to 4 weeks)
5. To enter simply text Rooney to 82100. Text entry is limited to three entries per mobile number per day. No purchase necessary.
6. Text messages are charged at standard network rate and may not be included in any all inclusive packages with your provider.
7. Winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision.
8. All winners will be notified within 7 days of the competition closing.

The Daily Star has £2 texts in every day for laptops, Cars and all the fabby prizes. I haven't ever entered tbh, rarely even enter £1.50 ones, BUT, I think it should be up to the individual, people have a right to decide how to spend their money, and if someone won a £14,000 car from a £2 then I think that's pretty awesome moneysaving
