Sky+ HD & Magic Eye

Hi

We have had Sky+ HD installed, but the "magic eye" remote control for the upstairs receiver doesn't work now.

Can anybody tell me how to change the frequency for the remote, if it can be done.

The RX code is channel 69, if that helps.

Do you not have to switch on the voltage for RF2?

I can't remember how to do it but you should be able to look it up on the internet.

You should be able to get a picture (may have to retune your TV) but you will need to turn the RF power on for the remote to work as Rob said, so while in there you might as well change the RF setting to 69 and then you should get a picture without having to retune your TV:

On the remote, press Services, 0, 0, 1 & Select. In RF Outlets set 'RF Outlet Power Supply' to ON, and press green to Save Settings. You may also have to change the RF Channel Number to match what it was on your previous box. Remember to Save Settings.
