Hi

I am due to go to uni in september to do an NHS degree. This means i will get a bursary of approximately 10K. My hubby is unemployed after losing his job last year and his entitlement to contribution JSA ran out ages ago. As I am working at the mo he doesnt get anything, which is fine, but if he is still unemployed in september (please god hope not) will we be entitled to Income based JSA? We have 3 kids and a mortgage. I understand that the bursary and loan (approx 2K) will be counted as income but I cant find any information as to the lower earnings threshold for income based JSA. I am becoming increasingly worried that my new career aspirations will be scuppered before I begin due to lack of funds!

Hope someone can help thanks.
