cadburys world factory shop

A friend of mine came back from cadburys world last week. She found a factory shop there that sold lots of chocy very cheap and other goods like bassetts sweets, toiletries, cooking sauces etc. Does anyone know if this is open to all cadburys world visitors as i think they followed someone who seemed to know what they were doing. Also does it have opening times and is it open if you havent been to cadburys world.

sorry for all these questions.

It would be good to go in a few months to get all the chocy bought or christmas

Thanks

Louise

It would be wonderful if that was the case but I'm afraid the factory shop is only open to card holders and employees only(to apply for a card you have to be a fund raising organization)

I visit cadbury world every year with the kids and the only shop open to the general public is the shop in reception and the prices are the same as the shop prices.

There is a Cadbury's factor shop near me

Some shopping centre's / outlet centres will have them

EDIT - I live near Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Harbour

well my friend and her partner and children used their pass from cadburys world. They said they went outside about 5 mins walk and found this shop that sold lots of things very cheap.

I have seen the shops like in mcarther glen and they are not that much cheaper that in the shops. Supermarkets like tesco morrisons regularly have promotions especially nearer christmas so are no cheaper

We went to Cadbury World a few weeks ago, and you do get a pass to the factory shop as part of your ticket... unfortunately we were pushed for time so didn't go :( Wish I had though!

It is about 5 mins from the main entrance across the car park(s).

i wrote a email to cadburys worlsd asking about this factory shop query and this is the reply i got

    Dear Ms Smethurst

Thank you for your email. We are still piloting the new project, whereby
300 visitors to Cadbury world are given a ticket to enter the Staff Shop
daily, on a first come, first serve basis. Unfortunately we cannot
guarantee therefore, that you will receive a pass on the day of your visit.

    With kind regards
    Cadbury World

so i presume you have to be there early to get the pass

i went a few weeks ago and obviously wasn't in the lucky first 300!
even though i didn't know about it i actually feel a bit hard-done by (although i think my waistline is probably quite relieved!)

Its a shame they are limiting the numbers. We have only been a couple of times as we live in Scotland, but on both occaisions Cadbury's world and in particular the staff shop, has been the highlight of my daughter's holiday.

We went on Thursday and got a factory shop pass. It is worth going for a look if you're lucky enough to get a pass. Plenty of bargains to be had. We didn't buy too much but got a couple of full carriers for £5. Bargain!!!!

    oooooooooooooooooooo, how exciting.

    I'm going tomorrow.

If I dont get a pass though I might just cry and cry and cry and cry until they get fed up of me and let me in.

If they dont then I'll cry some more :D
