Hi i started on esa on 25th may 2009, failed the medical, then appealled. I won the appeal on 30/4/10 on was awarded the support element group. Can you tell me how many weeks i will get backdated the support amount please. Is it from 13 weeks after 25/5/09? Thanks

Yes you will get it from the 14th week onwards.0 -
That would be approx 34 weeks. So would it be 34 weeks at £30.00 approx. Thasnks0

Well, I'm very pleased you have been successful.
So, due to ATOS you have been kept waiting for seven months and no doubt caused considerable stress at a time when you are unwell.
There is quite a gap between "fit for work" and "so unwell that you don't even have to prepare for work" (support group). Yet again it shows what a disgrace these so called medicals are.0
