what do i do with my investment?

i have a sum of money invested in the halifax some in an ISA investment and some in a personal investment it is supposed to be in for 5 years. it will be the 3rd year this summer and everytime it starts to make money it just droppes even more, would it be worth taking my money out and investing els where? and where would be best?

    You havent told us anything about what you have. You mention the provide; Halifax and some is in an ISA (the personal investment could be unit trust or investment bond). Yet you dont mention the investments.

    Generally Halifax investments are poor. You dont invest with Halifax (or any bank really) to get anything special. However, in your case it appears to be a lack of understanding of how investments work and the reasons why they zig zag in value in the short term.

    Taking the money out of Halifax may not be a bad thing to do but until you understand how and why it does what it does there is no point putting it anywhere else. Otherwise you could just end up putting it in the same thing but with a different brand name.
