You can sometimes get free samples in local pet shops or sometimes pets at home have samples too!

Just a thought but take a trip to Wickes or B&Q and make yourself a hutch - it'll be about 1/4 to 1/3 of the price of buying new.
By the way, I hear breaking their necks is a more humane way of killing them for meat than the french way of taking out their eyeball and bleeding them (not sure if it's done consious or not). Sorry. Too much information.0
