BMI amex free flights?

I took out a BMI amex card as I had read on the site that if I spent 250 in the first 90 days it would mean free flights. This I did but no points are showing up on the Diamond Club membership page. Does anyone know how to claim the free flights?

Hi, so far it's been about three months! I have emailed them twice but never had any reply. Has anyone out there actually managed to get the points or free flights?

In the first instance have you checked your bmi credit card statements? Do they show that the bonus 20000 miles were transferred to your Diamond Club frequent flyer account? If not then it may be worth contacting MBNA who issue and underwrite the credit card in the first instance.

Also, were you already a member of Diamond Club when you applied for the bmi credit card? If so the 20000 bonus miles would have only been applied to your account if you had included the account number in the initial credit card application form. If you did have a Diamond Club account already when you applied and did not include the account number in the application form it may be the case that MBNA has created a duplicate account and added the bonus miles to that other account.

As for emailing bmi be prepared for a long wait to receive a response to any queries, apparently the Diamond Club admin team is exceptionally small!
