Ford Focus Central Locking Problems
Options
Has anyone had problems with this ? A friend of mine has a 4 yr old or so car and a couple of weeks back the central locking failed totally. He checked the fuse, took out the locking unit etc but no luck. He popped into a local independant garage to find the owner with his head under the dashboard of a Focus with the same prob - showed my mate a really inaccessible fuse behind the main fuse box and said that could be the problem. Gave my mate a fuse which after much scraping of wrists and knuckles sorted it out. Matey in the Garage said he had another Focus booked in the next day with the same prob.
This hidden fuse isn't mentioned in the Ford or Haynes manual so can only assume its a £200 or thereabouts moneyspinner for ford main dealers
