Am I protected?

Advice from the more knowledgable please.
I have installed Microsoft Essentials as anti-virus and Advanced System Care Free for cleaning and maintaining. Operating system is Windows 7, IE8 is browser. Toshiba satelite laptop.
Wondering if this is sufficient protection or would you advise more/other.
Have not had problems and want to make sure it stays that way.

Personally I wouldnt use the 'system clean' program you have

Id have 'malwarebytes' as a secondary scanner and 'ccleaner' to clean junk out

To be safe when browsing the net I use 'Firefox' with the 'Noscript' plugin

Many thanks never knew about this add on but have just installed sounds good, can never have to much protection!
