    Hello,

I'm in a similar situation at the moment. I've found that the comparison sites do differ quite a lot! I found comparethemarket.com was the cheapest for me though. It's best just to have a look around!

If you click the link at the top of this website that says insurance it actually gives you an order in which to do the comparison sites in to get the best quotes possible.

like FirstTimer4Me, i have difficulty getting my head round these things.
have a complicated situation with more than 1 vehicle, and foreign named drivers.
does anyone love working out these things so much they can lend a hand, and earn half the savings?
    Please?

No problem I totally understand, my dad had a stroke 2 years ago and I have to help him with stuff like this.

It says the first 2 to use are "Gocompare" and "Moneysupermarket" - try them and see if they give good quotes.

With a situation like yours I think it's best to actually give them a call.
