I cancelled my mobile phone in dec via a telephone conversation, I was informed there would be 1 months notice and a payment was taken in january. I forgot to cancel the direct debit and another payment was taken in febuary. Since then I have recieved numerous letters stating I have not paid my bill. I have responded to these stating I cancelled the a/c in dec ( even had a cancelation survey text, now deleted). They ignore what I say and have informed me baliffs will visit to collect the money. Where do I stand.
The phone has not been used since January when another phone was purchased and used.
What are my right, I'm so stressed

I know it's a bit late now, but you should cancel mobile contracts in writing and send the letter recorded delivery so you have proof of delivery.
Can you get them to re-listen to the call where you cancelled it ? I imagine it will be recorded and filed on their system as most phone companies keep recordings for a good period of time.0
