hi
two or three years ago i bought a samsung digital camera from a high street electrical shop (not dixons or pc world). at the time the salesman said if i take out the insurance i could have a bit knocked off the price so, as the insurance was only £1.99/month i took it, he said i could cancel the dd when i got home. well, (you can tell this is going to be a long one!!) i never got around to cancelling it and the other week the camera was dropped and totally knac.. broken, so after calling them i sent it off. now, the salesman told it was a "new for old" policey so i was expecting either a new camera to the value of, or vouchers but what i did get was some "refurbished" piece of tat, same model, but not mine. the serial number was also scratched off. i called them up but was told that this was acceptable under the terms and conditions of the insurance, but the "terms" when i took it out were what the salesman told me, "new for old"!!
i am just about to write to them and see what they say but i'm not hopeful.
bloomin' insurance policey!!
just venting!!
thanks for listening.

Forget what the sales man said, what are the terms you have in writing.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0
