Speak to the bank if you havent already or whoever issued the card you payed on and explain the situation - they may be able to help - its worth a try.
I would try and speak to them again to see what they say, tell them if you dont hear anything within x days you will go to small claims court?!Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
bank said because its over 3 months i cant do a chargeback
the tv is still at the repair centre, i just rang them - freemans havent even picked it up...0 -
How did they say they would process the refund? send you a cheque? Maybe they credited the now defunct credit card account?
What has Freemans told you today? I take it you have phoned them today? if not why not? and ask to speak to the womam who was nice...you did get her name right?0 -
Sounds to me like you need to write them a letter saying thier agent has taken your TV with no loan set, you are being inconvienienced, and you will be seeking redress for all your costs if no refund cheque is recieved within 7 days. - recorded delivery0

Yes, the nice woman today said a refund had been done and that a cheque was sent... So i shall wait and see.
Unfortunately different people give different information - i think its down to the moons orbit and jupiters alignment with saturn..0 -
Well hopefully it will come soon - i've given up on freemans but have got John Lewis to do the newer version of the tv for 835 (reduced from 960, closest i can buy online with quidco etc is 745) with the 5 year warranty.. So i want that one soon0

I was actually going to post this after you said you had spoken to the most helpful lady... I was going to say don't give praise until she actually does it and you get the refund. Lo and behold, this is what happens. Customer service on the phones either is you get someone who knows what they are talking about, but not the answer you were looking for, or someone who will give you the answer you want to hear either through laziness, incompetence or for fun but there is no amount of truth in their answer!
