Tenants insurance -cheap/recommended?

Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone can recommend a decent firm for cheap tenants home contents insurance. I have always in the past gone with Homelet, never really questionned it, but seem to be paying alot. I have made 1 claim about a year ago, but apart from that I have not made any other claims in the ten years Ive been with them, however am paying £19.15 per month, so have cancelled as the best they could offer me was around £17.00 per month. (I cant afford not to pay monthly)
Does anyone know of anybody good & cheaply priced? I only need bare minimum cover as I dont have much in my home of great value.
Ive had a look online but seem to be endless quote type comparison sites & they all want to take contact details like tel numb (dont want to be bombarded as Im not well at the moment).
If anyone could recommend anybody that would be a big help.
Thanks in advance

Try L&G.Policy is primarily buildings cover, but you can add a samll amount of contents cover.Your previous claim will affect your no claims discount. Most mortgage brokers will provide you with an advised service on this.If you do it yourself (non-advised) and things go wrong you have no comeback.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
