Quick question on guarantees, please.

When does a 12 month guarantee kick in for items bought online? Is it from date of purchase or the date you receive the goods?

Thanks in advance

Totally depends on what the guarantee itself actually states.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker
Shouldn't be more than a day or 2 apart, so unless the item "breaks" on exactly day 364, I can't imagine it being a real issue ;)

    That's exactly what happened, nomoneytoday.

Item ordered on 8th May 2009, received 14th May, however it broke the other day.

Have emailed customer services, to see what they say.

Thanks for your replies, guys :)

Don't forget you may well still have rights under the Sale of Goods Act irrespective of the terms of the guarantee.
