Bush 26" LCD tv no sound

It's odd as there's sound when you switch it to DVD or WII but not for the TV - tried unplugging the scart and replugging. Tried switching on and off. Doesn't make sense!!!???

    You mention a scart so your watching tv through a freeview box?
    Tried swopping scarts to see if thats the problem?
    Is mute switched on freeview?

    Somebody has just offered me a brand new one of these for £25 with volume stuck on maximum!

    Still at that price - I couldn't turn it down!
