    Hello all

I'm late today as well - hey ho! Waves to Angel - how did your money meeting go?

DNMs - depends where you are - were we are its still quite chilly - so maybe a week or so yet - you need to put them out when you'd put out other tender things like bedding plants - if it were me I'd grow them on for a few days more and make a judgement call.

    List today
Post ebay sale and pack up - label all printed
    Checked banks -ergh
    Checked CC's ergh ergh
Must write a cheque for something for a pal
    More packing to do
Store cupboard tea - gammon steaks yum yum
download more tv programmes at old house to watch at new house
    Do more veggie garden bits
    Fill up the petrol cans
Sort more in the garage - sold my spare engine - :)
Do some cuttings for a pal
    Do some more for me!
Look at wood at house and see if anything is any good to make my window seat - its half constructed.
Might ask my brother for help

Not sure what else today :) I hope you're all good - we had snow - yes SNOW yesterday - only for a bit but OMG - there are still daffodils out here and snow showers - pah!
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

    • join flylady - I think I got it so you only do the house work mon-fri?
Hey, that's great you've had a longer lie in. You must've needed it. I'm sure you'll feel the benefits. :D

Yip about flylady - the lists only go up for Mon-Fri but they're not tight timescales - I usually try and do a bit each day and then catch up at the weekend. No pressure - I just like it because something always comes up that I would never think about or haven't done for aaaaaaaaaages. Kitchen list today - I really need that one!!!

As for me, I've made some good progress this morning
    • [STRIKE]Renew library book[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check banking/cc/ebay/pigsback[/STRIKE] Yay, getting piggy points credited before the end of the week! Crimbo is sorting itself out after all - Amazon vouchers coming my way! :D
    • [STRIKE]Joined maximiles loyalty scheme via mysupermarket.com[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]HM cheese straws using pastry going off in the fridge[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Play around with the snowball calculator[/STRIKE] It's scary when I include my mortgage loan too:eek:
    • [STRIKE]PAD[/STRIKE]
    Tea break over! :p

    Snow Fay?!!! It's craziness!!

La E - Will probably be booking tomorrow. They have just rung up with prices we expected. We have a decision to make. If we go on the 11th we get free child spaces but it doesnt make too much difference. Make our 3 main families about £100 more expensive than if we went on the 4th. However if we go on the 4th then that date works out cheaper for everyone else who may book later which i think is a bit more fair really. Plus my 15 yr old sister might have exams the last week in may.

Trying to get through to my mum....so hopefully will be making a booking this week....thursday at the latest! :D It's so exciting!

Plus we will (most likely) arrive there on weds 4th. we have to be resident for 3 week days so thats thurs, fri and mon. Then we will have to pick 3 dates to get married. which will be tues-thurs. So the 10th being our first choice means in fact today could be a year to the day of our wedding day!! :j:j:j:j

    Morning all!
Back from a hectic weekend down south at a christening.
    Busy day today too...
    • Been to pick up dog from kennels - he's always really happy to be home and completely knackered!
    • Put assignment together to hand in at 11am - last one - hurrah!
    • Go food shopping armed with a list and budget
    • Hoover house
    • Change bed
    • Put dry washing away
    • Taken meat out of freezer for OH's tea tonight
    • Start interview lesson for Thursday
    • Emailed special school about visit - looking forward to this
    • Clean bathrooms
    • Check banks and revise budgets for the month and spending diary
    • Tidy up all of the books and uni stuff now its nearly over
    • Put all of the toiletries etc bought over the weekend away
Stilll tired from the weekend so that should be enough for today!

Getting there - been to uni and stayed longer than I thought catching up with fellow trainee teachers - by teh sound of it my training has been a much better experience than some others has been, quite a few have dropped out, been kicked out or are at risk of failing. It sounds quite smug (don't mean to really) but I'm even more chuffed with my grading and how its all gone - it was hard work but not toooo bad IYKWIM!

Been to Mr T's and spent £10 mor ethan I wanted to - hopefully things will last a bit longer than I planned them for and next week's shop will be better?

Just about to get started on the housework - one hour maximum!
Then a bit of work and a rest tonight watching the soaps and making a nice tea (sweet potato curry, naan bread, bhajis and samosas).

Waves to Angel - how did your money meeting go?

Hello, really well all things considering...now just planning for the big money day. Got a couple of big names involved now in running workshops which is amazing. I think we will be able to help between 100-200 people in the Edinburgh area now. Even got a top psycologist (sp?) doing a seminar called when the going get tough, the tough go shopping which I am very much looking forward to myself!!

Cant believe you had snow!! Pea pods starting to poke heads through the soil now, as are some as yet unidentified seedlings which I have forgotten. Planted out my beetroot seedlings too but they dont look too happy :( Cucumber coming on, no sign of courgette yet but I have faith as were my strongest performers last year. Sowed some tomato plants again - dont have much faith after not getting one last year on all my plants but I am a glutton for punishment!

Almost considered getting a wonga loan today and even went through the process of registering but wouldnt let me get through due to not having a home telephone number which is a relief.....just wanted the car fixed :(
