Also if there is a uni near you watch out near the end of May as international students going home often don't take appliances with them because they're too heavy or the wrong voltage, and sell them off cheap (or you could go skip diving). You might end up with 10 rice cookers, but you could sell 9 of them come September to the next intake ...
