i was going to cook them in milk but then changed my mind and used water instead....this is moneysaving expert after all!!:money: :rotfl: i`d rather keep a panfull of milk in my fridge for other uses rather than have to throw it after the chicken was cooked as it goes all scummy, what a waste of good milk
proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance! :p
Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money

  • Much easier than mixing all that stuff together. Go to Tesco's buy a packet of 'Home Pride' coat and cook, southern fried coating, costs a few pence, cover chicken portions in it, bake in the oven, tastes delicious.

    I've been Money Tipped!
If it helps at all, I make my own KFC style coating using up finely ground stale bread for the base ingredient, adding a pinch or two or a spoon or two of whatever herbs and seasonings I fancy that day. I then dip the raw chicken pieces into beaten egg, roll round in the coating and pop onto a very lightly oiled baking sheet and into the oven. Had no complaints so far except from the pony who loses out on the stale bread, but compliments from the dogs who get the leftover egg added to their dinner!
