Have you received the card yet? If not, are you absolutely sure that it's a debit card? Their website only says that you get a cheque guarantee card. There's no mention of a debit card, or even an ATM card.

Yorkshire do the cash transactor account which has a cashcard and lets wages in and direct debits and standing orders out.I have a deep burning indifference0

I have just looked at the card and you are right, although it is a current account they do not have a debit or cashcard facility and the card is solely to back up cheques. I just asked what happens when cheques are phased out and they said that is currently up for discussion and they do not know yet what will happen.0 -
I wonder what they will do when cheques are phased out too ?
The hologram on the Leeds BS cheque card is very different to all the other banks as you will no doubt discover0
