Tumbling Toms are very common now, but are quite expensive in the shops.
I picked up 5 for £1 yesterday from a car boot sale, good healthy plants.
Just need to decide what to fix to the side of the shed to grow them in.0 -
So do you know if it would be possible to put those strawbs in nor flower pouches and would they regen next year in those pouches?
Strawbs would work in hanging pouches as long as they were kept well watered (sometimes easier said than done) and the original plants would last a few years. The new runners would have to be rooted in compost and separated from the parents. It wouldn't be easy to put new plants into the holes in the pouches because the original plants will have filled the holes, so new homes would have to be found for them.0 -

Lucky you! I have been looking round today and the best I could find were 3(in a basket) for £6 from homebase. They were very well established though, even with flowers!0 -
well I am selling tumbling toms (red and yellow) balconi (red and yellow) and minibel (red, for containers/tubs) for 80p each on the market! May be worth checking your local market out!0
