I have had the misfortune to purchase several morhy richards items that have been faulty. This has turned out to be no problem whatsoever as the morphy richards helpline is second to none when it comes to complaints. No problem at all, give them the item model and serial number and before you can put the phone down there is a brand new replacement winging it's way to your door.
It's a shame the items were faulty in the first place but I can cope with that. what I can't cope with is bad customer service. Sadly, most companies do not bother about customer satisfaction these days but Morphy Richards certainly do. Five stars to them and may they continue to keep their customers happy for a long time to come.
ps. I can't fault Lakeland either. These two companies are tops.

Can vouch for them too, had a faulty Ultrasonix toothbrush it was a twin set only the basic version and they sent a brand new deluxe version as a replacement which arrived about 3 days after the phone call.
