Itunes help please!

Last night, while DS2 was at his Dad's, he downloaded onto his Itouch, by mistake, a Tomtom app costing £50!! His Dad emailed them about this error in the hope of getting the money refunded to the credit card, but is yet to get a reply. There were several points he made in the email

- DS2 didn't download, he switched it off as soon as he realised what he'd done
- This app won't work on an Ipod touch
- I believe it was grouped in amongst the 59p apps and ds clicked on it instead of the 59p game app above it

I will no doubt learn more once I pick ds up, but does anyone have experience with Itunes over an issue like this? Ex is happy to wait for an email reply but maybe someone here knows otherwise?

I think someone on this board had a similar problem: their child had downloaded 10 albums off itunes (or something similar). I think they managed to get a refund.

Oh thanks, that sounds like good news. I've read conflicting stories on the web and didn't know who to beleive. I'll do a proper search of the board when I get home... Off to get the little rogue now.

My son just got a reply from Itunes and they've agreed to reverse the transaction:). Just thought I'd add this in case someone else searches for a similar problem.

Just as an addition, tomtom does work on the touch but you need to buy an additional external gps unit and jailbreak it so you can get the bluetooth to work with it.
