Hi,
Anyone give me some advice on buying a new laptop. I had an ASUS gaming laptop which has given up the ghost so looking a new laptop but not ASUS
Any makes or models suggested?
I'm looking for Windows 7
15" screen
4GB RAM
Graphics card of at least 512 MB dedicated memory as I want to play some games but not the most demanding of games.
DVD Rom. Not fussed about Blu Ray as have a PS3 and use that.
Preferably a black colour.
Been looking at Dell and Sony, would rather pick one up in a store but not a must, tried Pc World, Currys and Dixons online they all seem to be the same company, also tried Tesco and debenhams.
Any help would be appreciated.
Anyone currently got an amazing laptop and want to share the details?
Thanks

I would do dell since you can sometimes get a nice 4 year warranty for only £20 extra. I also like sony though as they seem more solid than dells, and would say if you can get one with a decent warranty then go for that. Sorry can't help scouting one out for you though far too busy this week. good luck though.0

See http://www.dmxdimension.com/dell-uk/studio-15-deals-comparison-coupons/ for current dell offers. I have a top of the range studio 17, very happy with it but it is huge!0

does the Dell graphics card live up to expectations?? Doesn't overheat? I heard dell laptops are a bit poorly made, I have a Dell pc and it's been good. I want a nice solid laptop0
