Best Rail Fare - Montrose to London (June)

We need to travel to London on the 24th June, returning on the 27th. I'm not a regular train traveller so a little unsure of how to track down the best deal. The cheapest I have found today is £99, does anyone know of anything better?

By booking on East Coast Trains website, using Advance Singles it can be done for £87.60 each return.

Have you considered flying?
Might be cheaper.

Thanks Keith, we usually fly fly but fancy the train this time. We live quite rurally and by the time we drive the 40 mins each way to our nearest airport, pay for parking, fuel, train from airport into London, etc it's cheaper and quicker to try the train.
