Something old, new, borrowed and blue

Sexymouse: I'm getting married on a beach too! So the shoes are completely pointless as I'll be wearing sandals for the ceremony but my Mum said she'd buy me some Louboutins for my wedding and I wasn't going to let something like the location of my wedding stop that, I wanted my dream shoes! I'll be wearing them for the reception and the party back home (which is how I have justified my dress too as I'm also wearing it twice!). So now I just have to find some blue flat sandals for the ceremony as I won't be wearing my something blue! Ah it's all very complicated....Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

With the wedding back on in just over a month I have the following (or will have):
something old - pearl ring from my late grandmother
something new - wedding dress and necklace
something borrowed - hoping to borrow a bracelet from my brother - was given to his daughter
something blue - again - bracelet has opals in it - so they are blue...
I like the idea of the coin - will see if I can source one!Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Oooh, I like them! Although I think I want a thick sole/ low wedge heel as I don't want my dress to be too long when I'm in my sandals. I never thought about these issues when I bought my shoes, I just thought, 'Oooh pretty shoes!'!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Well my new things are mounting up now - since my last post on here, I've bought some lovely Jon Richard earrings in Debenhams sale (unfortunately they must be an old line, so I can't find a picture to post for you all). Also got the limited edition eyeshadow pallette that clinique had out recently for my makeup.
I've also bought my bridesmaid dress from Asda, and I'm waiting to hear tomorrow how much I will be charged by an alteration service to get the zip finished off properly, as it's rubbing under my bridesmaid's arm. Then I need to get a new corsage and some ivory ribbon to finish the dress off, as the existing flower is rubbish.
Still haven't worked out the borrowed yet!
Anyone got any ideas?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
I was thinking this http://budgetsavvybride.co.uk/i-do-rhinestone-wedding-shoe-stickers-399/ for my something blue, as I'm so OCD and my wedding is white, lilac and champagne, I couldn't handle wearing a blue garter or underwear! I do wear blue eyeliner though so maybe stick with that :-s
Bride2Be your garter is similar to mine, love it :-) I got a matching horseshoe as well lol0
