i had 3 small cucumbers in my greenhouse that have just wilted and died one after the other.
what did i do wrong?
i bought them from the garden centre about a month ago and they were doing well up untill now. is it best to wait a bit and sow some seeds directly in the soil... will it be too late?
thanks

Soil too wet is often the problem, it should be damp not wet.
Plenty of time to sow new seeds, put 2 in a pot in a greenhouse or indoors, give them time to grow first set of true leaves, then pull the weaker one, or if you're a big softie like me, pot it up and see how it goes.
Water from the bottom only....stand pot in dish of water for a few mins then remove.0 -
If you can collect in Wales I have a few spare you can have. My father payed £3.50 for 3 "Lunchbox" cucumber seeds from B&Q and they died he bought another 3 and they died then he bought another 3 again and asked someone else to grow them for him and he planted them and he was saying to me this week they don't look to healthy. The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0
