Does anyone know of a way of finding out your security password for your router. We seem to have misplaced our password, so can't connect anymore devices to the network?

No, thats the whole point of a password.
You can reset your router manually. There will be a pin size button you need to press. This will reset everything. You can then set the password by going into router settings.0 -
With the router switched on, press the reset button for approx 30 seconds whilst the router resets itself.
This will put EVERYTHING in the router back to default settings:idea:0 -

It is pointless resetting the router just because the wireless key is unknown.
Simply log into the router and navigate to the wireless settings page. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

My router still requires a password to log in to the settings page, even when wired. I believe most routers are like this.
So if they forget one password, I suspect they have forgotten the other.0 -

which router is it?
If you mean the wireless password (as opposed to the router admin password), click start, run, cmd
ipconfig
find the gateway ip address and put that into your browser
Resetting your router with the button will lose all your settings.!!

And if this is not a cable router they will also need to find their ISP's username/password to re-enter if the router is unnecessarily reset.
Basically the OP has not given enough info as usual. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
It's often printed on the bottom of the router. If you've got a device that has been setup already or you can connect with an ethernet cable, go into the router settings by typing 192.168.0.1 into your browser - if you've been in there before, chances are the username and password will have been saved (or it's usually admin for both) and then you should be able to find the key or change it.
If you can give more details - router make and model and your ISP I'm sure people will be able to help.0
