JSA and sickness

Hi everyone
I have a question that has been bothering me, first the background.
I got made redundant in February; I have since been on JSA. I have a partner (on maternity leave) and two boys under 3. Last week I got rushed into hospital with pains to my chest, struggling to breathe etc. this is the first time like this anything has happened. The hospital done an xray and a scan and everything has come back normal. I got released on Friday and was told I would have to have a camera down my throat to see what the problem is. It is now Sunday and I know myself that everything is not how it should be, it is hard to explain. I am waiting to see my own doctor in the morning for advice on what it could be (as I am worried sick). I do fear the worst but one of my concerns are my benefits, if I am unable to work I should not be on JSA, so what should I be on? What difference does this make to my income? I am worried sick about everything at the moment and just need to be clear in my head about what I need to do.
Thanks in advance
caen

Please try not to worry, if they thought you had a major problem they would have kept you in.
