Should I book with ATOL seller only?

I'm looking to book a holiday for the family at Florida Disney

We're look at florida4less.co.uk
Now, the thing is, I've always heard from various places that you should ONLY book with a travel operator that has an ATOL number - so you're covered if anything goes wrong

This website has an ABTA logo - is this enough? Is this OK instead of ATOL?

The website itself is backed by well known names like the Co-Op - this is reassuring, but does it mean anything!?

Thanks

OM

    From their about us section;
    Florida4less is an independent fully bonded ABTA and ATOL agent, giving you full financial protection and peace of mind. We are also members of The Freedom Travel Group and part of The Co-operative travel group.

    I booked with them about a month ago and if I remember correctly they had the ATOL logo on the site then too. Hmm *confused* They have been excellent to deal with, very helpful, but now you've put my worry head on and I'm wondering why the ATOL logo has gone missing...

    EDIT. They list their numbers too: Our ATOL number is ATOL 6042. We are a member of ABTA, membership number W6417.

    thanks for the reply
    i read the first half and breathed a sigh of relief
    but then read the second half and though...... oh!
    i think if they have on the about section: then it must be ok?

    is there anyway to look up their atol adn abta numbers and confirm it's actually them!!?
    i'm sure it's not really necessary for them, but would be good to know for other websites - since anyone could jus put up a website selling holidays and use someone else atol number!

    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
