Pacemaker Car Insurance

I have recently had a pacemaker fitted. I have told the DVLA and they replied to say no problem with my continuing to drive.
I have to tell my insurance company next, but I am worried they will bump up my premium, has anyone any recommendations here?

The majority of Insurers tend not to have a problem with a pacemaker, give them a call, they will want to know whether you have informed the DVLA and if so any terms the DVLA have imposed eg restricted to ten years etc etc0

Thanks that sounds encouraging0

I wouldn't even bother telling your insurer. If the DVLA are happy then that's all you need to worry about. Your insurers wouldn't be able to do anything about it anyway.0
