Pacemaker Car Insurance

I have recently had a pacemaker fitted. I have told the DVLA and they replied to say no problem with my continuing to drive.
I have to tell my insurance company next, but I am worried they will bump up my premium, has anyone any recommendations here?

The majority of Insurers tend not to have a problem with a pacemaker, give them a call, they will want to know whether you have informed the DVLA and if so any terms the DVLA have imposed eg restricted to ten years etc etc

I wouldn't even bother telling your insurer. If the DVLA are happy then that's all you need to worry about. Your insurers wouldn't be able to do anything about it anyway.
