What are you being marked on - the actual scripting etc, or the way you carried the project out? My final year project was mainly based on the project management aspect rather than the coding itself.

I did a Java project based on a Trouble Ticket system including client and server software, with a small 'notifier' which the user could run instead of the actual client software, plus email alerts etc.

The best thing to do is have yourself a time-plan with targets of where you want to be and when. Have a notebook and take notes of what you do on each day, any problems you are facing, how you've overcome them - this will really help when you come to write the report. Take into account the marking scheme when you do this and make sure you allocate your time accordingly - there's no point spending 90% of your time perfecting the coding when it will only get you 15% of the marks.

Bit hard to be more specific when we don't know much about the project :)

    Good luck with it :)

Web programming generally isn't difficult enough for a CS project as you usually get a mulitplier mark for the difficulty of the project. However it is important to note it's not the project but the report that is most important - plan it!
