OK so I've had a scan of the (very small print!!) ingredients list.
Parraffin - no
Petrolatum - no
Glycerin - yes, 5th on list.
Perfume - yes, very far down on list.
Alcohol - Not sure - I'm sure I read somewhere that anything starting with 'cetearyl' is alcohol? and if so, yes, 4th on the list.
Hope that helps! The ingredients list is quite extensive to be honest, with a lot of scientificy (is that a word?!) words, so you may be best having a wee look if you are interested
funnily enough, the ingredients list isn't on the Aldi website.

I bought this yesterday and used it for the first time this morning, so too early to tell for me yet.
I was using the No7 one but at £20 a pop, it was just too much to justify.
Hope the Aldi one lives up to the hype - at that price I can use as much as I want!

And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -

I really like it so far - I also bought the shimmering day cream and I really like that too, it's only £1.99.

I was driving past an Aldi this morning and decided to stop and pick up some of the serum too. Somehow the eye gel, the Q10 cream and the collagen wrinkle filler jumped into the basket as well....
I'm looking forward to seeing if they work too. I wasn't that impressed by the Boots P&P but at those prices I'm prepared to give them a go.0 -

:rotfl: it's such an unassuming looking shelf as well isn't it!
My mum got the serum too and said she isn't impressed at the smell of it, but I really like it

I haven't tried the serum, but I did get the Aldi double firming cream (comes in a dual dispenser, so you get 2 streams of cream/gel dispensed.) Also tried the Q10 day and night creams. They didn't do it for me I'm afraid and I did find them more perfumed than I like , but we're all different, so you never know. Great price if they suit!!
Those of you tempted to experiment with the Aldi range should note that the products I tried all had a satisfaction guarantee on the packaging. It says they would replace the goods if you were not satisfied (in addition to your statutory rights) I wondered whether this meant I could replace with other goods, but in fact when I returned the part-used products to the store (with some trepidation!) with my receipt, I got a no-quibble refund immediately.0 -

The one at Melksham looked like a bomb had hit it!
Actually I've never been in an Aldi before as there isn't one near me. Definitely an experience!0 -

It is a rather odd scent - cucumber?? Even my OH commented.
I'm currently using the outrageously expensive Skinceuticals eye gel on one eye and the Aldi one on the other!0 -

That's the best way to test new products, I think. It was when I started using my P&P on one side of my face, having doubts about the Aldi creams' performance, that I really realised the difference in immediate benefits from the P&P.0
