Where is the best place to look for auctions of property.

Hi, there are lots of good threads floating about, the best thing to do is 'search' auction on the top of the foum page (on the left)

Back in the day buying at auction was good. Not many people had the guts. I picked up a house for 9 grand in 2001.
But now they are a waste of time. They are packed to the brim thanks to that stupid under the hammer tv show.
And because these people have no experience of property they always bid higher than you.
And it ain't easy anymore either. Back in the day you used to be able to go with a dustbin bag full of fivers to pay for your purchase. now they want ID, bankers draft etc."fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -
Here's some for the South East, but as Flashnazia says, dificult to find a bargain these days.
You could go along and get a feel for them. Note down all bids and then compare to market conditions

there is a knack, you either have it or you dont. i buy at auction regular and pick up good buys.0
