GreasyPalm and ipoints - what's the point...

Options
in using them when a) half the things you buy through them don't result in the cashback being added (unless you can be bothered to keep a record of everything and continually chase them) and b) they don't bother to send the cashback or respond to email.

I've had £100+ in my GP a/c for ages but still only received one cheque for about £30. I've emailed them 3 times about it but they've never even bothered to reply.

Ipoints - I redeemed some points for some vouchers on Dec 5th, to help with Christmas presents. Still not received them now!

The more hassle this becomes, the more I wonder whether it's worth the time and effort.

...I would definitely use "linemypocket.co.uk" as they generally run an excellent service (apart from the odd problem). They always reply to emails within a few hours, maximum and are most helpful. If there is a problem they keep you posted as to what the current status is.

I have purchased a few small items from Argos, and Maplins that have as yet no appreared any funds from them despite teh Argos one being made last November.

I have just booked my Summer Holidays so I hope that I get my discount from that too as thats now been paid for.

I am beginig to now think its a con. I notice Argos have recently been dropped.

As for advertising bars, I used that several years ago and I did get paid, Ad something or other, that was great about £10 cheque or more a month, shame that still aint going.

Thats it advantage, my friend and I got paid on several occasions must have been 5-6 years now.

The last cheque was in dollars so I couldnt be bothered to cash it in for such a small amount. I must have made a about £50 in total.

I have to say that I've been impressed with GreasyPalm since I started using them a few months ago.

I received a cheque for £63 in December and I've just been sent one for £45 this month and as things stand I'll be due at least another £37 next month.

Admittedly sometimes cashback hasn't been added to my account, but a simple e-mail to them has always resulted in it being sorted out.

I've also never really had any problems with Ipoints. I've rarely bought anything through ipoints, but have gained points through surveys, website registrations, etc. Had enough ipoints for £30 worth of Amazon products in January, which was nice for a few belated Xmas presents to myself! ;)
