AOL mail error?

Checked my AOL mail earlier on my iphone, worked perfectly like always. Went to check them just now on the computer and it said that the password i entered was incorrect (even though its saved in my keychain on my mac).
So i tried to check again on my iphone and i got the same message.
I know that the password i was using was the correct one as that has been my main email account and password for the last 8 years.

Is anyone else having any troubles?

Iv also tried to reset my password but it was now blocked me for 24 hours because its saying im typing in the Q+A but im not!

1I have problems with AOL and passwords too. When I go for my mail I have to delete
the ******** from the password box as I know it is one digit to long and then I type in my correct password.

Above the email section there is a sentence "would you like to change your password?".
I said yes and then they said the p/w you have chosen is the same as your old one.
:rotfl: You should be laughing by now. AOL is such a weird company!.

I can only suggest that you send them an email. You might get a sensible answer. It's worth a try. You have prompted me to have another go at them.

I have used the same email address and password for about 8 years now and its really starting to annoy me because i cant even reset it now! i use that email account for everything from University to itunes, and also for business.

I have also just had business cards with that email address on it printed for a university project!

I have sent them an email now, hopefully will get a response soon!

Ok so now i have a new problem.

Last week my AOL password some how managed to change itself and after 30 hours of agro i managed to get my account back, however since then i havent received a single email and whenever people try to send me one they gets an error message saying that the person you are trying to email is not currently accepting emails.

I have tried to contact aol but i am now unable to find a Contact page for people who arent aol broadband subscribers. Help please!!
