ISA Transfers how does it really work?

I have 3 ISA's which by the 12th May will all be ready to transfer to one account. I believe the Alliance and Leicester has the best offer. What I really need to know is, they offer upto £8999.00 at 2% and over £9000.00 at 2.75%
Does this mean if I put all three Isa's in to their account totaling roughly £9500.00 I only get 2.75% on the £500.
I believe it's their - Direct ISA Issue 6
Thank you
